Hammersmith Hospital is ICHT’s specialist hospital based in East Acton and renowned for its strong research connections. It offers a range of services including renal, haematology, cancer and cardiology care, and provides the regional specialist heart attack centre.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our growing workforce due to service expansion. We have 6 cardiac cath labs, opens Mondays to Fridays, from 0800h to 1800h. Due to service expansion, we will be running one GA list on a Saturday making our Electrophysiology lab a 6-day service. We want to build a flexible workforce, and we would require you to rotate between the 2 subspecialties of the department: interventional/structural and EP. You will be supported by a dedicated and visible cath lab leadership team, including a clinical practice educator who will help you achieve essential skills and competencies.
• To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients receiving anaesthesia in the cardiac cath labs.
• To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision.
• To act as advocate for patients.
• To assist in clinical leadership within the cardiac cath labs.
• To deputise for the Cath Labs Senior ODP when required.
• To carry out a wide range of cath lab duties, both at their own initiative and direction of senior members of staff
