Main Responsibilities
• To provide administration support to the Vendor Management Team
• To support the Vendor Management function in collating all relevant information and preparing documentation for New Product on-boarding and product resourcing
• Liaise with internal teams and our suppliers on any customer-focused, quality, delivery or invoice queries, supporting the team’s objective to reduce the volume of these queries.
• To take responsibility for and action any identified data or information changes for item maintenance and product database support within the ERP system including price, minimum order quantities, supplier product codes, Country of Origin and carton quantities.
• Support the team with maintaining supplier relationships.
• Running, maintaining and distribution of relevant category and management reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with suppliers and internal colleagues.
• Excellent administrative experience.
• Knowledge and experience of operational processes and understanding of buying and supply chain techniques would be an advantage.
• Experienced in the use of all Microsoft office applications including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Capable of managing conflicting priorities and able to organise workload as required.
• A completer finisher who is self-motivated and has excellent people skills.
• The ability to deal with large volumes of data and queries in a timely manner.
• Experience of collaborating with suppliers both in the UK and globally would be advantageous.
