Summary
Are you either an experienced IT support person, or someone with an IT academic background looking to gain more experience? Would you like to work for an international company to support their diverse range of IT technologies? If so then we have a vacancy for you to join a company that can offer training and exposure to lots of different technologies
The role involves supporting IT applications across three countries, working with a variety of IT technologies to develop their systems to ensure they meet the evolving needs of their manufacturing business.
You’ll work with different people from different cultures in different locations, so good communication skills will be needed. We want someone who can commit to researching technical solutions, self-learning, and be open to training and sharing knowledge
with others.
You’ll need to be able to have experience of the following, or a strong desire to develop your skillset following previous academic studies:
- Server Support – experience in supporting virtualised Windows Servers and Server O/S – Windows Server 2016 & above & MS Exchange 2016 & above
- Administering active directory & group policies
- Scripting – experience with PowerShell & Exchange Management Shell
- Desktop Support – Windows 10 & 11
If you have knowledge / experience of programming languages (Python, JavaScript, MS-Office VBA), database management experience (writing TSQL queries) or an understanding of business/manufacturing processes then this will be looked upon favourably.
The role requires 39 hours per week Monday to Saturday, and offers onsite and remote work as required. There will be updates to do after 12pm on a weekend, so we expect there to be 4 hours worked remotely on a Saturday or Sunday, with time off in lieu during Monday to Friday as a result.
