Summary
My client, a busy coaching inn with 2 rosette restaurant, strong weddings business and public bar is looking for a bar manager to join their team. The full salary package is £38,200 per annum including tronc and bonus, the role requires 5 days per week on duty and there is accommodation available if required.
The successful applicant will have full responsibility for the bar including staff training, rotas and stock replenishment; in particular, you will bring to the role a knowledge of cocktails including suggesting new cocktail menu items on a periodic basis and teaching your staff how to make and present them. You will also support the events team with bar service during weddings and functions as well as provide drinks orders to the restaurant during service.
The basic salary for the position is £34,000 per annum plus bonus (£1200 per annum) and tronc (tips of £3000 per annum). Both tronc and the bonus scheme are paid monthly. Accommodation is available locally and is in walking distance of the hotel.
