A young lady in Embleton area requires a Personal Assistant to support with 22.5hrs per week to be arranged flexibly between the successful applicant and family.

Hours would mainly be provided across Monday to Thursday noon onwards although there would be a possibility of some hours on an evening or weekend but this would be discussed and agreed in advance with the client.

Experience preferred but not essential.

MUST LIKE DOGS Driver with access to car required – Insurance for business use required

Hours of work: 22.5hrs per week

Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Location: Embleton area

Main Duties: Support required with socialising and accessing the local community and visiting places of interest. Client enjoys theatre and cinema so it’s hoped worker would have a similar interest. Client also enjoys shopping, going to the pub and walking her dog as well as an interest in fashion and make up.

Hours would be initially provided in the house until a relationship had built up between client and worker. Once relationship is established there could be an element of personal care.

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
