We are based in Batley and are looking for a furniture upholsterer to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to join their expanding team. This is a permanent position after successful probationary period. Your duties as furniture upholsterer are:
To prepare fabric and components for use in upholstery or soft furnishing.
To upholster items of furniture involving preparation of the frame for upholstery, application of suspensions and filling materials.
to be able to use a hand held staple gun, screw gun and other hand tools.
maintaining a high level of quality and meeting production efficiency.
Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery.
Furniture Upholsterer Experience:
5 Year minimum working in an upholsterer role.
The ability to produce a good quality product with excellent attention to details.
Practical skills, manual dexterity, especially hand skills and co-ordination.
A positive mind-set with a 'can do' attitude.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Salary: £39k per annum.
