CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Supervisor, the Supervisor will be responsible for delivering a smooth and efficient running of the Security Service, and will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security. You will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. This site is based in E14 and spread over four buildings comprising 650,00 sq ft of office and retail space.

Location: London (E14)
Pay Rate: £14.14 per hour
Hours: Average 56 hours per week
Shifts: Days & Nights 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 off
Job Requirements:
SIA Licence required.
At least 2 years experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is required.
Driving license is required must have at least 2 year driving experience
CCTV license is desirable.
Excellent communication both written & verbal
Excellent levels of customer service at all times
Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
To have a smart appearance befitting the company
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner.
Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own.
Job Responsibilities:
To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times.
To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Contract Manager.
To ensure the handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
To convey a smart, well-groomed appearance in approved uniform, provide a first-class customer service and display high levels of vigilance throughout a shift, making a good first impression.
To portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour always, using open and appropriate body language.
Vigilance is key in this regard - any untoward activity and/or security related concerns must be immediately reported to Security Control.
To be customer service facing - Polite, Positive and Professional at all times - every single colleague, tenant and visitor is a client and must be treated as such.
Respond to alarm activations and investigate disturbances as instructed
Monitor entry and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons - all untoward activity is to be immediately reported.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities (statements and incident reports), such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or any unusual occurrences
To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times.
Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards, and conduct.
To keep a proactive outlook and regular patrol all aspects of the site/s
Oversee that the contract’s officers are all performing to the required standards and take appropriate actions to remedy any shortfalls.
Monitor that patrols are being adequately completed and to the expected frequency.
Liaise regularly with CIS Managers ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
Regularly audit site equipment & ensure that site paperwork is correctly maintained.
To be able to work as part of a team.
Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
