Summary
Kingsley Consulting is engaged with a well-established and market leading Roofing Contracting business. Due to expansion of their service offer within solar PV, they are looking to hire a Solar PV Manager to join their progressive team.
Location: Hybrid role, operating 2-3 days at Project sites and from the HQ in Northamptonshire
Salary: Circa £55-£60K (NEG Depending on experience)
Benefits: Bonus, Car (or allowance) Pension + Additional benefits
Client Overview: Our Client are specialist roofing and cladding contractor that provide a complete roofing solution for Commercial and Industrial clients across the UK. T/O is £5m currently with well-established infrastructure in place throughout the business providing a secure platform to launch further growth. They boast a fantastic pedigree in their sector and are very well established with a fantastic culture within their team.
The Role Overview:
This role is a newly created role within the business as it seeks to offer their existing and new customers a Solar PV solution. The post holder will have the ability to shape this side of the business as it grows, resulting in a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to effectively take lead on their Solar PV Division
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtainment and compliance of all accreditations including MCS & PAS2030.
- Work closely with the Directors and Senior Stakeholders of the businesses to help develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to capitalise on quick wins along with medium and long term sales strategy.
- Identifying opportunities to capitalise on the group’s clients, supplier and stakeholders.
- Securing places across various frameworks and industry bodies including UKDEA, ESPO, OECD, YPO & other renewable, decarbonisation & Zero Carbon framework pathways.
- Helping to identify and secure grants and funding streams to make the commercials more favourable for clients and attractive to secure business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Undertake all tasks necessary in order to produce a Solar PV Design Proposal for a range of Projects.
- Produce the necessary calculations and design using PVSol software and determine the best Solar PV panels to meet the brief.
Candidate Experience:
- Design/Project Management or relevant Installation experience within Roof mounted solar PV Systems.
- Experience in using Solar PV design package
- AutoCad
- Experience in making DNO applications
- Familiar with the type of materials and equipment on the market: PV Panels, Electrical and Mounting
- A knowledge of EV Charging/ battery systems and being able to design those into the system would be advantageous
