We are seeking a Booking Coordinator to join our Medical Infusion Suite team based at Maidstone Hospital, for a fixed six month contract. You will be responsible for providing positive customer service to patients and visitors, dealing with patient queries and supporting patients to access our service.
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a dedicated team, with the added satisfaction of working for a service committed to the care and wellbeing of our patients.
There is potential for further opportunities in the Trust post the fixed six month contract for the right candidate.
The main role of the job will be to provide a booking service for the Medical Infusion Suite at the Maidstone Hospital. You will need to have excellent communication, listening and computer skills to be able to provide an optimum level of customer service.
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients – the first of its kind in the country.
