NT Traders Ltd, operating as The Car Traders, is a well-established used car dealer committed to delivering quality vehicles and exceptional service. To support our continued growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at our Romford location.
Main duties include:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of materials.
- Source and procure automotive parts, components, and materials in a timely and cost-effective manner, considering factors such as quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for NT Traders Ltd, and periodically review and update agreements as needed.
- Monitor and control procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing efficient procurement strategies to maximize value for the company.
- Work closely with the Inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing excess inventory and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and repairs.
Skills and Education:
- Proven one year of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate supplier performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
