Summary
Night-Shift Warehouse Worker for Immediate Start
Delivery Partners Limited are looking for warehouse workers to join our expanding network based out of Cumbernauld. We are a two-man delivery company that delivers throughout most of Scotland offering room of choice and, in some cases, to unpack the goods and remove packaging.
Typical duties include:
• Using a forklift to load and unload trailers, ensuring that all unloaded goods are scanned into depot.
• Sorting goods into relevant bays.
• Scanning goods onto the crews vans and loading them, ready for crews arrival in the morning.
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to appropriate personnel.
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which involves using a hand-held scanner.
• Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times.
• Moving the vans around the depot to be loaded.
Ideal candidate qualities:
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions is essential.
You must:
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be able to commute to Cumbernauld (required)
• Driving Licence (required)
• Be physically fit and able. This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Forklift Licence (preferred)
• 1 year warehouse experience (preferred)
Schedule:
Shifts from Sunday to Thursday nights (11:30pm to 8:30am)
