Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team!
Purpose of the Role:
To manage all aspects of the warehouse and staff working within this area. To ensure all goods are stored correctly. Ensure a high level of Health & Safety is maintained at all times. Applicant must have a 'can do' positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• To manage the general warehouse activities and be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse team are working effectively on a day-to-day basis. Manage all staff and their performance including timekeeping work ethic and Health & Safety.
• Undertake periodic performance review and associated tasks for warehouse team.
• Maintain constant communication with the other Heads of Department, Managing/Operations Director.
• To ensure that all goods are checked to ensure the quality, by the warehouse staff (as required) prior to delivery.
• Responsible for maintaining standards throughout the warehouse area ensuring all required work is completed to a satisfactory level and high standards of housekeeping is maintained before releasing staff to go home every day.
• Manage the absence management process.
• To manage the standards and performance ensuring the specified checks are carried out as detailed with the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Any other tasks and duties that are to be considered as reasonable to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Experience:
• Warehouse Management: 1 year (preferred)
• Warehouse Supervision: 1 year (preferred)
Must have experience of working in a supervisory role in a warehouse
