Summary
Luxfords of Weybridge is an expanding Removals/Storage & Shipping Company based in Weybridge, Surrey and are part of the Doree Bonner International Group
We require:
FULL TIME EXPERIENCED Drivers
Positions are available LGV/NON LGV Drivers to work from our Weybridge site, carrying out household removals.
• Accelerated Career Development Plan for all Employees, whether that be funded Car Licence or HGV Test, supervisor training etc.
• Overtime Rates kicking in after standard hours with annual OTE between 37-44K
• Team camaraderie promoted as working as part of a team, carrying out moves for different customers on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities of a Driver:
• Responsible for the courteous interface with customers and ensure timetables and service expectations are maintained.
• Driving long or short distances.
• The role is physically demanding and involves packing, wrapping, loading and unloading our customer’s goods.
• May involve some weekend working.
• You will be occasionally responsible for undertaking the duties of a Move Team Member, also be able to demonstrate the potential and desire to develop towards the Move Team Leader role.
• Possible progression to LGV Driver if not already.
What we’re looking for in a Driver:
• Previous experience in removals is ideal but not essential
• Excellent spoken English
• Clean UK Driving licence
• Good level of fitness
• Eligible to work in the UK.
Rates of pay: from £12.00 – 15.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and type of licence held.
Full time hours of work: 5 days per week plus overtime and occasional weekends.
Full uniform will be provided.
Removals experience is preferable but full training will be given.
