Summary
Vixen International Trading and Contracting Ltd is seeking a qualified Procurement Officer to join their team. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the company's procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment required for mining, construction, and civil engineering projects.
Main duties include:
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and secure competitive pricing for materials and machinery.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency and quality while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Maintain an efficient inventory system, tracking stock levels, and ensuring timely replenishment to meet project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in procurement activities.
Skills and Education:
- Proven track record in procurement.
- Excellent negotiation skills, strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
