University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) seeks applicants for the post of part time Undergraduate Medical Education Administrator at North Somerset Academy at Weston General Hospital
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated administrator to join our professional and friendly team.
This part-time post provides an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of the North Somerset Academy team, which is responsible for delivering the MBChB (medical degree) curriculum on behalf of the University of Bristol to medical students on clinical placement in Weston General Hospital.

· Have excellent IT and communication skills and be familiar with all common computer software packages
The 20 hours are to be worked over 4 or 5 days, with a degree of flexibility.
This is mainly an organisational role, but we are also here to support medical students on placement in Weston with their queries, concerns and pastoral needs – therefore, this is predominantly an office-based role.
North Somerset Academy (NSA) is one of the partner organisations of the University of Bristol medical school (“the University”) and is responsible for the clinical placements of undergraduate medical students at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). The NSA office and teaching rooms are based in The Academy building within Weston General Hospital. The post holder will provide an administrative service to the North Somerset Academy. This post has been created to provide administrative support for medical students undertaking clinical placements at Weston General Hospital on the MBChB medical curriculum. In addition, the post holder will support the Undergraduate Medical Education Manager in the running of the North Somerset Academy Office.
