Are you enthusiastic, motivated and have a passion to deliver the highest standards of care to our patients? Then we are looking for you to work with the multi-disciplinary team within our Older People Services department.

We have five medical wards specialising in older people services. We are a friendly and conscientious team who are passionate about elderly care. We have a large workforce including tissue viability nurses, a palliative team, dementia specialist nurses, dieticians and a dynamic therapy team and many more specialist teams who we work alongside to seek expertise and advice from on a daily basis.

We are in the process of refurbishing the wards and as part of the refurbishment project we are able to use our own ideas and designs with evidence based practice to ensure the wards will improve patient services and experiences, including those living with dementia. We offer an older person services induction programme upon starting your new role and are keen to help and support in the development of our staff in their career progression together with a preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses. We can also provide an opportunity to undertake the older peoples PGCert. This pathway is aimed at nurses working in older peoples in patient settings. There is also an opportunity to rotate staff within our services including our frail assessment unit.

We are looking for registered nurses who are dedicated and committed and have the ability to be part of a team as well as working autonomously to provide high quality dignified care to our patients in a safe environment.
If you possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, have the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have a specialist interest in developing the service we provide then please apply, we would be happy to have you as part of our team.

There really is no better time to join our team and be part of this new and exciting adventure.
