Summary
We at Dot Signs and Print are a business-growing company seeking vibrant and highly capable team players to excel, meet and create innovative ideas meeting the needs of the signage industry. Being a Print Manager it is a highly responsible position to execute the right jobs in the right time frame to boost the production targets resulting best print media services.
As a Print Manager, you will be required to work full time 5 days a week. As a part of the production team, you will bring the company’s targets fulfilled speedily to meet the deadlines. Your self-motivation and collaborative spirit will be crucial in delivering high-quality sheet cutting, printing and producing the best brandings using different materials on the CNC machines.
We are welcoming experienced Engineering professionals/CNC Machine Programmers/GCSEs/S grades. Training regarding the production setup will be provided on the site as a mandatory job process. Furthermore, Apprenticeships/Trainees in Machine Printing at NVQ/SVQ Levels 2 and 3 may also apply.
Experience in CNC programming, packaging and printing will be preferred.
Job Description:
Printers/Print Managers set up and operate various small offset printing presses and digital printing processes.
Work alongside the design team to ensure seamless production from the start of the print process through the logistics process and final delivery to the customers.
• Flatbed settings, placing different kinds of material sheets/boards on the CNC router machine, checking alignments for executing the cutting/printing process
• Manage various projects, including cutting signs and printing signage boards
• Work closely with the design operation team and assist with new and existing products
• Responsible for Quality Inspection, material finishing test, estimating the cost of the print job with the design team
• Making sure that work is finished on agreed timelines
• Monitoring stock levels and buying print production materials — sheets, boards, ink, toner, paper etc.
• Routine cleaning, upgrading and preventive maintenance of the machine
• Keep production records.
• Excellent computer skills especially AutoCAD
Working Hours
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 17:00 however, flexible work requests can be assigned as per the nature of the projects.
