Temporary
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Controller to work for our client outskirts of Grantham on a temporary basis
• Audits all products and grading accordingly
• Informs the QA Manager, Shift Manager, Process and Packing FLM of any problems with the product in conjunction with upstream sampling
• Checks all packaging materials i.e. correct product in the correct packaging, check bag seals and codes on both bags and cases
• Maintains all equipment in a clean and safe condition at all times
• Promote and enforce behaviours and actions that will prevent all contamination threats to products whether physical, microbial or chemical
• Escalate immediately reporting on the status of any non-compliance in the system or process to management for counter measure or immediate remedy
The ideal candidate will have experience working within food manufacturing, have a good working knowledge of HACCP and have previous experience as a Quality Controller.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with a good standard of spoken and written English, be organised and be able to multi-task, have good computer knowledge and skills and have own transport to get there.
