Summary

Job Description

Based at either Marchbanks (34 Harefield Road, DD2 3JW) or Baldovie (Forties Road, DD4 0NS) depots you will work full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 0730 and 1530 (Monday to Thursday) and 0730 to 1500 (Friday), for a temporary period of 13 weeks.

Requirements

You will have basic numeric and reading/writing skills.

Responsibilities

You will undertake, usually as a member of a team, duties connected with the removal of household, industrial and commercial waste from a variety of locations.

The Individual

You will have manual handling skills and the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.

You will have an awareness of Health and Safety issues related to refuse collection and the ability to follow instructions.

You will be able to cover reasonable distances on foot (up to 5 miles per day) and to deal politely and courteously with members of the public.

You should be willing to undergo training and be adaptable to meet the requirements of the job.
