Join our esteemed client in the driving industry and showcase your skills behind the wheel. Must be comfortable doing some ratchet strapping! New pass friendly. This is day work 0600 - 0700 starts. Driving a HGV Class 2 flat bed vehicle. Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate and manoeuvre HGV Class 2 vehicles in accordance with road regulations and company policies.- Complete timely delivery and collection of goods, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.- Conduct vehicle checks before and after every shift, reporting any defects or issues promptly.- Adhere to delivery schedules, ensuring products reach their destinations within allocated timeframes.- Maintain excellent customer service skills while interacting with clients during deliveries or collections.- Utilize navigation devices or maps to ensure efficient and accurate route planning.- Maintain records of all deliveries, including signatures obtained upon receipt or delivery of goods.- Comply with all health and safety regulations throughout the working day.- Adapt to any additional duties or requests as assigned by the client or our agency.Qualifications:- Valid UK driving license with HGV Class 2 entitlement.- Up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).- Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, preferably in a similar role.- Exceptional driving skills with an excellent driving record.- Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and traffic laws.- Highly responsible and committed to meeting delivery schedules.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.- Physical fitness to handle the demands of continuous lifting and loading/unloading.If you are a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver seeking a temporary opportunity in Dudley, we encourage you to apply through our official website at workchain.co.uk.
