Summary
Catering and Hospitality Supervisor
Pay Per Annum - £24,440
Hours - Monday - Friday (7am - 3pm) (40 per week)
We are now hiring for the position of Catering and Hospitality Supervisor at our Manchester site. The position comes with a good salary and benefits including up to £800 worth of free staff meals (breakfast and lunch), paid breaks and other reward incentives and perks.
The right candidate will have had food experience in a similar supervisory role or have worked in a catering assistant role for a substantial period of time and feel that they are now capable of supervising over a catering operation. This is a corporate setting so our supervisor is expected to be very well organised, punctual, career driven, presentable and have an understanding of corporate catering and a professional outlook on this position.
You will be supporting the Manager in the day to day operations of catering and hospitality services on a busy site for our client in an office based environment. Our in house cafe serves breakfast and lunch services each week day to up to 200 staff members and visitors and we also host hospitality functions in and around the site regularly which can be anything from simple buffets or tea and coffee services to VIP functions.
As the Supervisor you will primarily be based on our front of house in our on site cafe, although your role will be spread across all areas of our operation.
A typical day would involve management of the front of house operations, working with the kitchen to run busy food services smoothly and efficiently. Handling cash and card transactions using our POS system. Assisting where necessary our catering assistant in general food prep during quieter periods. Re-stocking front end displays. Preparing hospitality buffets. Assisting with stock rotation.
You will also be responsible for a large part of the ordering for the site along with some of the administrative tasks (paper work, working on a computer) which we must complete on a daily basis and as Supervisor you will also be responsible for cashing up and banking on site.
