Job summary
Healthy Minds Lincolnshire provides early and preventative emotional wellbeing interventions for children, young people and their families across Lincolnshire. First established in 2017, the service has provided intervention, advice or guidance to over 5,500 children & young people across the County.
Your role will provide support via liaison & consultation to education providers and universal services. It will also involve leading evidence based groups & workshops to children & young people and parents/carers, as well as brief 1-1 interventions.

Healthy Minds Lincolnshire work with children and young people on a variety of emotional wellbeing needs including but not limited to: anxiety, low mood, self-harm, self-esteem, and anger. You will be able to provide excellent clinical & management supervision to Band 4 Practitioners within the team, with the ability to inspire and develop staff to their full potential. You will provide emotional wellbeing support to child and young people including their parents/carers and wider support network. Support will be provided by you in groups, workshops and on a one-to-one basis.
You will also provide management and clinical supervision to the Band 4 Practitioners within the team.

Essential
- oRelevant degree or equivalent experience e.g. nursing, psychology, education, wellbeing practitioner, OT etc
- oA maintained professional registration if required by your profession
Desirable
- Post qualification courses in childcare practice or therapeutic work with children and families.
- Good understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or Solution Focused Therapy.
- Training qualification.
- Mentorship module (degree level)
Experience
Essential
- Significant experience of working with people with mental health needs, including those with emotional wellbeing needs.
- Experience of delivering evidence-based interventions in a one-to-one and/or group setting.
- Experience of providing training to professionals and children and young people (or able to demonstrate aptitude).
- Good knowledge of universal children's services.
Desirable
- Significant experience of working with children and young people who have mental health or emotional wellbeing needs.
- Experience of delivering therapeutic interventions.
- Local knowledge of children's services.
- Experience of delivering training or group interventions.

- Ability to work both as a member of a team and autonomously and to manage own and other colleagues' anxieties.
