Main duties of the job
Are you a qualified, or soon to be qualified, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) looking for a service that is committed to your ongoing professional development?
A service that puts staff wellbeing and patient care at the heart of everything they do?
If so,Oxfordshire Talking Therapies will be attending the Recruitment Roadshow, pop along and chat to the team.

Qualifications
Essential
- Postgraduate or Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment (IAPT pathway), relating to Adults with common mental health problems.
- PWP Registration (or evidence of application submission) with the British Psychological Society (BPS) or the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Desirable
- To have attended the IAPT LTC training
Contractual Requirements
Essential
- Ability and willingness to travel to locations throughout the organisation
- To work flexibly within service hours which includes work up until 8.00pm at least once per week.
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of the full range of evidence based psychological interventions at Step 2
- An understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working effectively in a team
- Evidence of working with adults aged 16 years and over who have experienced a mental health problems
Desirable
- Ability to manage own caseload and time
Skills and personal qualities
Essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills
- Ability to be self-reflective, whilst working with service users, in own personal and professional development and in supervision
- Computer literate
