We are looking for a Practice Nurse who will play a crucial role in delivering high quality patient care, working alongside skilled professionals in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and highly motivated, preferably with general practice experience and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Main duties of the job

Key Duties include:-

  • Chronic Disease management (Diabetes, COPD & Asthma)
  • Routine & child immunisations
  • Wound Care & dressings
  • Travel vaccinations
  • Cervical cytology
  • Knowledge of Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF)
  • Experience of working and delivering Locally Commissioned Services & Direct Enhanced Services

We are a friendly, well established and successful GP practice located in the Preston Park area of Brighton and within easy reach of the wonderful Sussex countryside. The area has coastal walks and many more outdoor attractions situated on the doorstep.

You will be joining a supportive practice with a cohesive, stable and dynamic team and at the same time enjoy a genuine professional and personal work life balance. We are:-

A team of 9 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs and an extended Clinical team of 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, 2 Clinical Pharmacists and a phlebotomist.

A GMS practice taking a prominent role in Preston Park Community Primary Care Network.

List size of 12,250 patients and growing

Well Organised with strong admin and management support.

System One clinical system

Close knit practice team with regular social events.
