We are recruiting 2 Catering Assistants at Caerphilly County Borough Council.Working hours: One working 17.5 hours per week. That’s 3.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday during term time only (38 weeks a year).

Are you a team player who enjoys preparing and serving meals, loves working with children, is flexible and approachable?
This role will see the successful candidate working under the supervision of the Cook in Charge, ensuring the lunch time service operates effectively whilst complying with our policies and procedures to ensure that food safety regulations are adhered to. Great communication skills are a must as you will be liaising pupils, parents and school staff alike. Ideally you will also hold a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Hygiene and Catering but don’t worry if you don’t, we can support you in achieving this alongside other appropriate courses relevant to the post.
