Nursery Nurse - Croydon
Location: Croydon, Greater London, England
Job Duties:
Job Type: Full-TimeRequired Qualifications:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting
- Plan and implement activities to meet the individual needs of children
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records and observations of children's development
- Support children's emotional and social development
- Follow nursery policies and procedures
Education and Experience:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
- First Aid training
Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Safeguarding training
- Work primarily indoors in a nursery setting
- May involve standing for long periods and lifting children
- Required to follow health and safety guidelines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
