East Suffolk Primary Care Network (ESPCN) is seeking two dedicated and experienced cancer care nurses. One post will cover mid-Suffolk (Eye to Stowmarket) for 34 hours per week and the other Ipswich & Felixstowe for 30 hours per week. As a PCN cancer care nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in driving forward our cancer care agenda.

If you are a NMC registered nurse with a strong background in cancer care and have a passion for making a difference, we would love to hear from you. You should have high levels of initiative, self-organisation, and confidence in interacting with colleagues.

Main duties of the job

  • Conducting cancer care reviews for our patients, ensuring the very best personalised care and support.
  • Supporting 2WW suspected cancer pathway referrals into secondary care, ensuring all pre-referral tests are completed.
  • Scoping community services to aid in early cancer identification and linking into local communities and voluntary sector organisations.
  • Leading the development of health promotion pathways and driving improvements in the quality of cancer care reviews in primary care post-diagnosis.
