Job summary

Bristol Wellbeing College provides an extensive programme of interactive, psychoeducational, recovery focussed courses to adults receiving support in both primary and secondary mental health care. Our material is written and developed in collaboration with our learners, as experts by experience, and seeks to enable people to take control of their mental wellbeing by learning tools, skills, and strategies. We aim to empower people to develop hope, meaningful relationships, autonomy, and resilience to seek opportunity and fulfilment. Year on year independent analysis shows engagement with the College can result in significant improvements in mental wellbeing and psychological functioning.

Main duties of the job

We are a small, supportive, friendly team. This is an interesting and varied role that is part data led, part client contact, and part quality and development focussed. It encompasses the ability to blend office and home working and be key in helping us develop our service. If you are enthusiastic about making a difference to mental ill-health and wellbeing, spreadsheets make your eyes light up, and you have good interpersonal skills, this could be the role for you!

  • Experience of data entry, data manipulation, interpretation, and analysis.
  • Experienced and competent at creating reports, developing, and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience creating reports/presenting data.

Desirable

  • Database use, ideally Salesforce/InForm.
  • Use of data analysis programs (eg,SPSS).
  • Conducting quantitative research/analysing quantitative data.
  • Conducting qualitative research/analysing qualitative data.
  • Quality assurance/policy/procedure.
  • Client facing and partner agency communications.
  • Working in mental health or social care provision.
  • Working in educational environment.
  • Working with diverse support needs, eg, mental ill-health, complex needs, housing, older adults, disabilities.
  • Experience of using mental health services (an expert by experience) or caring for someone using services.
