Job summary

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)We're seeking a dedicated RNLD /RNID/ RNMH to join our team.

As a Registered Nurse specialising in Learning Disability, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of individuals with PMLD residing in our residential nursing home. You'll lead and manage shifts, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained while empowering individuals to live their best lives.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities would include providing personalised care and support tailored to the unique needs of each individual with PMLD, administer medication and monitor health conditions, collaborating with family members and healthcare professionals. Leading and supervising a team of care staff, ensuring efficient and compassionate delivery of care. Developing and implementing care plans and risk assessments, regularly reviewing and updating them to reflect individuals' changing needs. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life for all individuals. Adhering to our regulatory body Jersey Care commission.

You would be required to have the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, Strong communication and leadership skills, Compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
