Hours per week:

8 hours between Saturday 9am -5pm and Sunday 9am -5pm rate of pay £14.00 per hour Saturday and £15.00 Sundays. Please apply even if you can only commit to one Saturday every 4 weeks

Hourly pay rate:

£14.00 Saturdays and £15.00 Sundays.

I am looking for a carer/s  to help me maintain living  independently. I enjoy art, crafts and baking with my assistants.

hours are available between Saturday 9am -5pm  and Sunday 9am -5pm rate of pay £14.00 per hour  Saturday and £15.00  Sundays.

I would  prefer a driver so I can get out in my wheelchair accessible car.

I enjoy life, and  my lifestyle is made possible by having the additional support of carers.

Duties include:

  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Companionship
  • Bathroom assistance

Using a hoist to transfer me on/off the toilet

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
