We have an exciting opportunity for a Triage Clinician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a category A Prison located in Evesham

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 38115 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Triage Clinician, your responsibilities will vary. You will be responsible with managing all patient healthcare applications including

• Triaging all urgent and routine patient requests.  
• Comprehensive patient assessment and documentation to triage patients to a high standard.
• Working with the multidisciplinary team internally and externally to organise patient care.
• Develop a sound knowledge of the use of the patient record system to organise patient care.
• Manage and prioritise a caseload of patient applications.

Qualifications required 

• Registered nurse Adult
• Current professional qualification (NMC)
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
