Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the safety team of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust to support the Associate Director of Safety, Security and Resilience and the Director of Safety , Security and Resilience with the Trust's Health, Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness agenda.

The post holder will be required to design , develop and produce safety related information via Power BI programming and database building , to enhance the established suite of dashboards available across the operational care groups and corporate services. The successful applicant must have a proven track record of extraction of information , data warehouse management and successfully integrating Application Programming Interfaces (API's) from a range of software applications, both internal and external to the Trust.

Main duties of the job

They will also provide line management responsibilities for the Policy Team, and will support the delivery the Trust's Safety agenda.

The post holder will work closely with the Associate Director of Safety, Security and Resilience, to horizon scan , new developments in the field of intelligent safety orientated information , utilising data from external contracted systems, to build learning systems for the Trust , which will improve quality and safety of care.

The post holder will need to maintain good working relationships with corporate departments and operational services across the Trust. A flexible approach and strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.

As part of the interview process, a practical exercise of creation of Power BI dashboards, will be part of the assessment criteria.
