Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team to lead the transformation of SACT / Immuno-Oncology services for Wessex, with a focus on clinical excellence, patient-centred care and operational efficiency.

Developing robust service provision with an integrated and data driven approach across Wessex, you will work with our partner organisations, a range of healthcare professionals, Pharma and our ICBs to shape service delivery for the future. A key part of this will be supporting the skills and capabilities across primary, secondary and community services to support the evolution of those services and recognise the short and long term effects of treatment.

You will be a visionary clinical leader who has the credibility to lead the development and implementation of transformative initiatives with a focus on clinical quality, safety, and patient outcomes. Working across organisations you will assess current clinical workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices and standards of care. You will act as a liaison between clinical teams, digital partners, and other stakeholders to integrate advancing technological solutions, into clinical workflows. You will develop and deliver training programs and educational materials to enhance clinical competency, promote adherence to clinical guidelines, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications / training required

Essential

  • Registered Nurse
  • PhD, evidence of doctoral level work or equivalent experience
  • Masters level cancer qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Masters Level leadership training or equivalent experience
  • Highly developed counselling or advanced communication skills training - Level 3 or above
  • Post graduate research qualification or equivalent experience
  • Psychological assessment skills training
  • IT Skills

Desirable

  • Prince 2 or similar programme management
