Main duties of the job

You will collaborate closely with the Dispensary Team to deliver a superior, precise, secure, and cost-efficient Dispensing service. Your responsibilities encompass crucial administrative support for our dispensary team, encompassing document management, record maintenance, and aiding in audits and searches. This pivotal role is instrumental in guaranteeing the seamless operation of our practice, maintaining rigorous standards of accuracy, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

To undertake training as a Dispensary Assistant, with the aim of gaining a L2 Dispensing qualification
To work with the Dispensary Team in the day to day operations of the Dispensary to ensure the provision of a safe, efficient and accurate dispensing service for patients and staff within national professional and legal requirements.
To support & promote the aims and ethos of the Practice and NHS Constitution in delivering high quality person-centred care
Promote effective communication with patients and colleagues within and outside the Team
