This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Royal Eye Unit where our multidisciplinary team see over 70,000 patients per year. We offer a full range of hospital eye care services including specialist outpatient clinics, admitted care and an acute referral service for eye emergencies.

The role will include an independent operating list. The post holder will be expected to be proficient in local anaesthetic cataract surgery and will be actively involved in the assessment of cataract patients and the development of the cataract pathway.

The service-line has regular educational meetings and actively supports opportunities for personal development of appointed staff.
