Main duties of the job

We're looking for an exceptional Advanced Level Hand Therapist who thrives on challenging cases and situations, and has a passion for clinical expertise along these lines. Developing your skills and meeting registration requirements are important aspects of this role. We provide in-service training through the supportive environment of our unique Physiotherapy Academy. The Advanced Level Hand Therapist role also requires: Initiating a structure for individual rehabilitation programmes for musculoskeletal referrals, coordinating with all members of the multidisciplinary clinical team Case managing complex patient presentations using a patient-centred approach, with the focus on excellent customer satisfaction and achieving the best clinical outcome possible Acting as a point of clinical expertise for other health professionals, including third party physiotherapists, to facilitate the best outcome for the patient. To review emerging evidence within area of specialist knowledge and assist its integration into the Nuffield Health Wellbeing evidence-based pathways You must be able to meet these key requirements: Commitment to the use of evidence-based practice and ability to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning skills Ability to demonstrate an active continuing professional development portfolio, which reflects a desire to develop as a practitioner
