Job summary

The role of Clinical Support Administrator is Band 3 salary, working full-time 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, and is based at Mary Chapman House in Norwich.

The role will be supporting clinical administration and processes under the 0-14 Team within Child Adolescent and Mental Health services. The role will include the processing of tasks that will support mental health care professionals to meet target waiting times and assist with effective movement through the patient's journey. You may at times be dealing with content which can be of a distressing nature.

You will however be part of a wider Business Support team where there will be an expectation at times to support with cross cover (including the covering of reception) and when required help out in other parts of the service.

This is a key role within the team, as you will be the first point of contact with Trust and CFYP services, in a busy and fast paced working environment.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • To provide a comprehensive business/secretarial support service to the clinical teams, including typing correspondence, reports, emails, and other documents.
  • Data Entry.
  • Booking appointments.
  • General administrative duties (i.e. proofreading of clinical letters, photocopying, scanning etc)
  • Updating Patient Record System (Lorenzo)
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries from Service Users and other professionals
  • Minuting of Meetings
  • Covering Reception(when required)

  • Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through practice at intermediate level
