PA Vacancy

Social Personal Assistant – RBANCL

Hours: 8 hours term time weekends and one evening and up to 10 hours over 3 days holiday time

Area: High Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Rate: £13.00 per hour

My daughter is a lovely, cheeky, cheery 13-year-old girl who lives with me (mum), her older brother, a dog and two cats which she adores. I am looking for a PA to help her enjoy some independence away from mum. She is full of energy and loves being active and really enjoys going to parks and desperate to work on monkey bars. She also likes to go to soft play, swimming, trampolining, shopping; in fact, anywhere where she can nose at other people!  She also likes to visit farms and the Tim Lamb Centre.

A visit to a café is usually her aim and she likes a variety of food but loves her regular Babyccino and one of her favourite foods is eggs and avocado.

She has a learning disability, including speech and language delay and has limited awareness of danger; therefore, the PA needs to be vigilant with her when out and about at all times.

Ideally, mum would like a PA who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with children and has some experience of caring/working with children but not essential.

A driver would be preferred but not essential, mileage will be reimbursed.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references which will be taken up if you are offered the post.

Closing date: This vacancy will close as soon as a suitable candidate is appointed.

At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
