GI Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Operative on behalf of our client based in the Sheffield, S3 area. This is a temp to perm opportunity working for a friendly warehousing and distribution company. 

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:30. 1 hour unpaid lunch.

Hourly Rate:
£11.44 per hour.
Overtime, anything over 40 hours - £13.42 per hour.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Taking delivery of goods and supplies.
• Checking for damaged or missing items.
• Moving stock around by hand.
• Picking and packing online orders.
• Loading goods for dispatch and moving stock around the shop floor.

Essential Skills Required:

• Previous experience working in a fast paced Assembly/packing environment.
• Accuracy in all tasks and measurements, and a high grade of work.
• Be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used.
• Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation.
• Be competent at working alone or as part of a team.
• Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department.
• Be aware of all company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
