Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our team at the Grange University Hospital.

Ward C is a busy ward looking after a range of patients with complex surgical needs. The ward specialises in General Surgery, Maxfax and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT). Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to work in our Machen pod with elective surgical, ENT and max-fax patients.

The successful applicants must have excellent communication skills and work well in a multidisciplinary team. Sound assessment skills are vital.

Main duties of the job

Individuals must be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable. You must be a team player who is committed to improving the patient experience.

The ward aims to give high quality care to their patients and the new team member must be committed to continual service improvement within these specialities. This post would enable applicants to access the Journey of Excellence (JoE) professional development Programme aligned to the learning and development opportunities offered within the Health Board.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
