As a Bank Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Thorn Cross by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.Main duties of the job
You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified and will have evidence of continued professional development throughout your clinical career thus far. Having an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, coupled with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach will enable you to succeed in this role, as well as a proactive approach to problem solving.

About us
HMP Thorn Cross is a Category D Adult Male Institution for adult males. The prison is located in the village of Appleton Thorn south of Warrington in Cheshire, England. It has an operational capacity of 430 people. HMP Thorn Cross is 20 minutes from Warrington town centre.
Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Thorn Cross and will begin delivering services in April 2024.We are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country.
