As part of the Cedar development within Specialist Children & Young Peoples Inpatient Services an exciting opportunity has come along to to introduce a Band 7 Night Coordinator post to work within the Ferndene site.
The post is suitable for Mental Health or Learning Disability nurses, who must be registered with the NMC. The posts will sit within the and will provide senior leadership to inpatient services at night. The successfull candidate will provide senior management experience and clinical leadership onsite across Ferndene during what can often be the busiest period .
Main duties of the job
You will need to demonstrate senior clinical leadership and support to the wards within Ferndene.
You will need to be clinically confident, resilient ,solution focused and competent in working with children and young people within an inpatient setting and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary context. You should have a collaborative and enthusiastic style as well as a passion and commitment to networking with other services out of hours including emergency services and crisis and home treatment teams.
The post requires that you are a good communicator and are able to adopt a flexible, adaptable and proactive approach to your work.
