Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your expertise to forecast project costs accurately, demonstrating a strong grasp of financial concepts.
- Take initiative in understanding project requirements, and actively engage with site teams to build rapport and gather essential information.
- Adhere to established processes while proactively identifying areas for improvement and streamlining procedures.
- Manage multiple projects, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team, contributing your insights and expertise to ensure project success.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
- Strong understanding of financial management and forecasting, with the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
- Previous experience in family-run companies or similar environments preferred.
- Proven ability to take initiative, ask insightful questions
