is role for a team player and someone with a special interest in working with
people who live with experiences of psychosis. It is an integral role within
the MDT and the post holder is a part of the leadership team and someone who
helps to think about team wellbeing.
It
is a really interesting time to be in Early Intervention and this team is
aligned with two other teams, in Devon, to think about ways in which we
understand and respond to national drivers for improving the way that we work.
There
are senior clinicians in the team who also provide leadership and there are
specialist roles that enable us to support people who use our services to find
ways to improve their lives.
This

view to working with psychotic experiences. They are keen to stay updated
around research, here and in other countries, and to find ways to innovate and
create to meet local need.
There
are experienced team members who you will work with and a group of
psychological therapists who are keen to support each other, to create a
sustainable and enjoyable work/life balance.
You
will be supervised by a senior lead who wants to find the best in you and
enable you to develop at your own pace and find ways that you can make a mark
on the service.
Main duties of the job
We
are focused on developing the psychological model, inline with national
guidelines and aiming to create change that makes accessing the right kind of
therapy, easier and quicker.
You
will be a part of service change that understands what people need and that
works integratively, within the MDT to proactively plan when interventions
might work best for a person on the caseload.
You
will help to manage referrals and plan with colleagues, to make sure that their
experience of recovery is well-planned and co-created.
You
will deliver high quality therapy and provide supervision and support to other
members of the team, who are trained and eager to deliver specific interventions.
You
will support the team to think about the complexity that people who use our
services, are encountering and enduring; and get to lead and share in
formulating strengths and coping strategies that respect the journey and
barriers that relate to the individual.
We
work with people across a 3 year span and so we work closely with our
colleagues to respond to changes in need and to sensitively develop rapport. We
also work closely with family members, peers, employers and
educational/training colleagues; so this role enables you to utilise all your
strengths and skills, across a wide range of settings.
