Job summary
Does wee and poo float your boat? If so, you may be the person we are looking for to help develop and expand our Tier 2 Community Children's Specialist Continence Service working across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable registered nurse with experience in managing children's continence and with excellent communication and team working skills.
Main duties of the job
- To assess, plan, implement and review continence treatment programmes and products for children and young people in a variety of community settings at Tier 2 level.
- To provide continence advice and management to parents, carers and those who work with children and young people with continence issues, through clinical practice, teaching, research and development, as part of an integrated team.
- To be responsible for continuing the on-going development of high standards of clinical practice and expertise within the service contributing to implementation of specific changes to practice and service protocols and making a professional contribution to the work of a multi-disciplinary team
