Job summary
The exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 consultant psychiatrists to work into the treatment and intervention team in Easington.Easington North is a busy and high functioning
CMHT. The majority of referrals come from the Access service however do also
receive from Crisis, Primary Care MH Services and Liaison Services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to provide appropriate
supervision to junior medical staff and non-medical prescribers within the
team.
The post holder will be expected to have familiarity with all
important, relevant legislation affecting the Adult Mental Health population.

staffing shortage puts strain on services and puts strain on workforce
wellbeing and costs extend beyond the financial. The Medical Directorate and
Medical Development Team are striving to improve medical workforce recruitment
and retention in a variety of ways and the cornerstone of these efforts is The

- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 3 months of appointment
Desirable
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
