We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join the team on a Bank basis at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison in South Gloucestershire.
This is a crucial role within the Healthcare division, providing clinical leadership to the mental health team, as well assessing complex patient needs. This bank role offers lots of flexibility on the hours and shifts worked!
Hours & Salary: This is Bank role offering a variety of shifts with an hourly rate of 34.13.

Main duties of the job
As our new Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide clinical leadership to the mental health tea, including substance misuse
- Act as part of the leadership team, supporting senior clinicians and provide input for patients
- Using your expert clinical skills, manage complex patient needs, and assess and manage patient issues
- Ensure that the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care

Our new Advanced Nurse Practitioner will:
- Hold a professional registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Be able to evidence their Continued Professional Development, ideally with a Masters or equivalent in Advanced Practice
- Hold a recognised prescribing qualification
- Have excellent understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- Have an understanding of clinical governance, health & safety, QOF etc
