We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our Primary Care at HMP Brixton category C Prison located in London

Hours

This role is Full Time working 37.5 hours per week.

Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 61,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Deputy Head of Healthcare, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Deputise for the Head of Healthcare in all aspects of their role. 
• Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery
• Provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations
• Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements

Qualifications required

• Degree or appropriate equivalent level of experience or clinical qualification
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
• Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations
• Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of clinical governance
