Variable Hours Apprenticeship Training Assessor – Engineering
        
Hours: part-time variable
Salary: £20.71 per hour. Plus generous Occupational Pensions Scheme

*the base hourly rate is £17.70 per hour, plus holiday pay, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £20.71 per hour  

About the Role
Are you an experienced tradesperson in Engineering? Are you at a stage in your career where you would like pass on your skills and knowledge? Do you have a passion for learning and want to help others succeed? Would you like to help our apprentices achieve their qualifications by assessing their skills in the workplace and helping them to complete their portfolios? 

If this is you, then apply to become an Apprenticeship Training Assessor.  

The Engineering & Digital Technologies Curriculum Area is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced work-based assessor specialising in the Level 3 Engineering Standards (these include MOET, Engineering Fitter, Design and Metal Fabricator).

You will be responsible for effectively tracking, monitoring and reporting on the progress of our apprentices to maximise their development and success. You will work closely with employers across the region, building relationships to support a new generation of future apprentices.  

We are looking for an individual who brings current industrial competency to the role and can provide high quality support and guidance for apprentices and their employers.  You will be a positive and confident individual who can engage well with our employers and build long term relationships.

Training and Qualifications
Our experienced team of staff will guide you through the role and support you as you build up your experience.  If you do not have your assessor and verifier qualifications, we will fund the cost of your training.
