We are looking for a full time Outpatient Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatient team at our Emerson's Green Hospital, Bristol

We work in partnership with the NHS, delivering scheduled treatments to private and NHS patients. Its a chance to be part of an agile and innovative healthcare company thats determined to help our partners introduce new ideas and new ways of working, and its an opportunity to pursue a rewarding career as a key member of a caring team.

The shifts will be on a rota will be from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 0700-1500 or 1300-2100 

 

Main duties of the job

You will be a vital member of the outpatient team. You provide providing clinical and non-clinical support within the Unit, ensuring that all patients are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner, which endorses the patient centred approach of the team.

You will also provide professional administration and reception tasks, while supporting the clinical team within the unit under the direction of a professionally qualified worker

The role involves direct contact with patients and their families and therefore you need to be empathetic, friendly and have with good interpersonal skills as well as;

• The ability to promote safe patient care
• Are willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance the delivery of our clinical service
• The ability to recognise and give priority to the needs of patients while maintaining respect, dignity and having an individualised approach to patient services
• Good basic communication and interpersonal skills
